Virtual Summits that Don't Suck

I've been to a lot of virtual summits, and most of them suck.

There are some that are just a web page full of videos to play.

There are some that are made up a series of talking heads talking at the audience.

There are some that are just a long sales pitch in disguise.

When you hire someone to run a summit for you, they charge a fortune for an event that you wouldn't want to attend if they paid you. Unsurprisingly, these expensive services often underperform their promises.

That's why when I ran my first virtual summit, I threw the rulebook out the window.

As a result, my typical summit draws 100-250 opt-ins, attracts 15-35 attendees who are actively engaged throughout the entire event, and leaves those who engage open and eager to further engage in my community and communications.

At the end of every event I run, attendees and speakers are eagerly asking when the next one will be and how to sign up.

Would you like a summit like that of your own?

What if you could have it with less than 8 hours of your time, including the time you spend at the event?

Would you like to be connected with 10-18 potential JV partners in the context of their summit host?

And to have all that without doing any work to make it happen?

If you answered yes, then click the button to sign up now, or read on.

    A Better Kind of Summit

"I was only planning to come for my talk, but I ended up staying for the whole thing. Again." I heard this from one of my speakers at the end of a recent summit. She had been one of the first speakers up, and was still there at the very end.

Imagine a summit so engaging, so informative, and so much fun that the speakers stick around for the whole event.

Imagine a summit where the speakers actually get energy back from the audience as if they were really on stage.

This is what I create in every summit I build. If I wouldn't want to attend it, I don't run it.

Let's be honest, there's no information at a summit that someone couldn't find on YouTube. So if you're going to run an event, you need to create an experience.

An experience is not about fancy dashboards and clever animations.

An experience is about human interaction.

That is what I create in my summits. I create an experience where attendees feel that they have really connected with other human beings through the event.

    Best Results. Less Work.

    I offer a done-for-you program.

There are a lot of summit services that call themselves done-for-you, but expect you to find the speakers, create the theme, identify the pain points, etc., etc., etc.. Some of these programs require as much as 15 hours or more before the event even runs.

With me, we will have one session for me to get a sense of your vision for the event. We identify your target audience, theme, types of speakers, event name, etc.

We select a date for the summit.

The next thing you need to do is show up and be present at the event.

I and my team will take care of everything for you. Everything.

    Expected Results

Based on the data from running over 40 events, there are three deliverables that you will get when we run a summit for you: opt-ins, access to an audience, and credibility of running an event.

    Opt-Ins

We will get you between 100 and 250 opt-ins who are interested in the topic of your event and ready to learn more about you and your offerings.

    Audience

Because our events are engaging, the audience that attends will attend for most or all of the event, and will be paying attention. You will be positioned as the host and given powerful credibility. You will have the opportunity to make any offers you feel appropriate in your event. On average, we have 15-35 active attendees throughout an event.

    Credibility

When you run a summit, it gives you credibility, even to those who do not attend. Similar to writing a book or hosting a podcast, people grant you a certain level of esteem when they see you are an event host.

Furthermore, while you have no obligation to help find any speakers, you will have the power to offer speaking slots to anyone you like. Nothing makes people love you like offering them a platform to speak on!

    Connections and Partners

I'm not just finding speakers for you. I'm making connections for you. The 10-18 speakers who you have at your summit will be new connection, potential JV partners, and even potential clients.

Your relationship with them will be started on a very strong footing because you gave them a stage, and everyone loves a stage!

    Scope of Work

Once you have spec'd out what you are looking for in your event, you have no obligations other than showing up to host at the event (although you may wish to promote it to your audience)

    We will do the following:

    • Create cover and banner image
    • Write copy for application and registration pages
    • Recruit speakers (although you may invite your own if you wish)
    • Write and send reminder emails for registrants
    • Write swipe copy for speakers to use to promote
    • Manage speakers to encourage them to promote
    • Schedule speakers and design flow of event
    • MC event and maintain flow during event
    • Edify you during the event and position you as the expert
    • Share with you all opt-ins (registrations) at the end of the event
    • Share with you all recordings which you will have full rights to use
    • Keep you informed throughout the planning and pre-production process

You will have the option to have the registration thank you page on your system where you can offer any upsells or VIPs you like. If not, we will offer a VIP with recordings and JV Connect ticket of which you'll get 50% of revenues.
